Anniversary Weekend at Los Poblanos
As seen in Rocky Mountain Bride
Lindsay + Joey opted for a staycation to celebrate their wedding anniversary weekend at Los Poblanos Historic Inn and Organic Farm in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Los Poblanos is quite possibly one of our favorite spots in New Mexico, with White Sands coming in as a close second! This charming inn sits in the valley next to the Rio Grande and has a quaint feel, yet with all the modern amenities and luxurious touches you would want for a romantic weekend away. Sarah and her husband celebrate their anniversary at Los Poblanos as well!
Lindsay and Joey decided to make the weekend special with some portraits and a special gift exchange. They each picked their favorite lines from their first dance song and had them hand lettered to frame in their home. Photographing their reactions during this gift exchange was so special, the connection and love between them radiated out and made their photos all the sweeter.Lindsay opted for a handcrafted bouquet from Floriography Flowers to brighten up her photos and we are so glad she did! With the Los Poblanos gardens in full bloom, it felt like she was carrying a piece of the garden around the property and it complimented her little white dress from BHLDN perfectly. We love that these portraits from their anniversary celebrate their connection and love, there’s something so special about portraits after your wedding day. Love deserves to be celebrated year after year, and there’s something to be said for celebrating love as it matures and evolves in a relationship, right? This anniversary weekend at Los Poblanos has us itching to slip away for another trip. There’s truly nothing like the charm of Los Poblanos in the summer, everyone needs to try it at least once. P.S. A summer wedding at Los Poblanos and an engagement session in White Sands.
