This fall wedding at The Riverbed Farm in Anaheim had such fun, urban farm vibes! Ruby + Alex wanted a really relaxed and community-focused wedding, and we think they nailed it. From the food truck (with the best tacos ever) to the intimate dance floor that was jam-packed the entire night, this wedding had such a great feel.
One of our favorite moments from early in the day was Alex’s reaction to Ruby during their grand reveal. He took one look at her and was so overwhelmed with emotion, we started tearing up behind our cameras. They took about 30 minutes to just spend together, snap a few photos, and soak in those last few moments before getting married–it set such a calm and positive tone for their wedding ceremony.
During their ceremony, Ruby + Alex were married by a dear friend while another close friend of theirs played guitar when Ruby walked down the aisle. It was so special and intimate to have friends play such special roles in their ceremony and really added to the intimate feeling of the day.
After the ceremony, Ruby + Alex snapped a few photos with close friends and family before joining their guests at cocktail hour to mingle and begin the celebrations!
Right before dinner, Ruby + Alex stepped away from the reception for a few portraits. Capturing the last soft daylight and their happy smiles completely made our day!
The rest of the night was filled with great drinks, vivacious conversation, and a totally wild dance floor. What a night! We would capture it again in a heartbeat. We just loved this fall wedding at The Riverbed Farm!
P.S. Check out Ruby + Alex’s engagement session near Joshua Tree. We had so many people ask if they were a real couple because this session was so dang fun and cute!
