Intimate Fall Wedding at Los Poblanos
Celina + Trent traveled from Austin, Texas to New Mexico for their intimate fall wedding at Los Poblanos in Albuquerque. They started their day getting ready with their parents + closest friends, before their simple and tender first look on the pathways surrounded by the changing oak leaves. It was such a peaceful and joy-filled moment–we were brought to tears behind our cameras! Celina + Trent are so obsessed with one another, and it just shows in their photos.
In the peaceful valley beside the Rio Grande on the Los Poblanos lawn, they said their vows in front of 35 of their nearest and dearest friends. Trent’s face, when he saw Celina walk down the aisle, is just one of my all-time favorite photos! Here’s photographic proof that doing a first look doesn’t take away any emotion from the walk down the aisle. If anything, it adds more because you get so excited during your first look. That excitement just builds, until you say I DO. We love how connected Celina + Trent felt on their wedding day and that they chose to maximize their time together by doing a first look. After their ceremony and a few family photos, they joined their guests for cocktail hour on the patio while serenaded by a string quartet. As the sun slipped away, everyone gathered for a multi-course, family-style dinner prepared by the one and only Jonathan Perno, executive chef for Los Poblanos. Laughter and toasts abounded, as close friends and family of Celina + Trent shared their favorite memories of the couple and soaked in the incredible cuisine. We love that they decided to forgo a traditional wedding day flow in favor of a simple and intimate day–it worked perfectly for them. Celina + Trent, we are so happy for you!
P.S. Another Los Poblanos wedding, and an anniversary weekend at Los Poblanos.
